Fascinator
for an Italian wedding

My aunt (who lives in Venice, Italy) got married recently. She bought a lovely suit for the occasion, but could not find an appropriate headpiece. I made this fascinator as a wedding gift to her.

::Note:: I covered the headband with scrap fabric from her wedding suit so that it matched exactly.

crochet shawl

I also do crochet! If there is a pattern for it, I can make it. This lovely shawl pattern was purchased on www.pattern-paradise.com and came out beautifully when done with variegated yarn.

Bike Helmet Cover

All those holes in a bicycle helmet are great in the summer, but not so nice when it's raining! This is a waterproof helmet cover, made specifically for the helmet you see on the left. Comes complete with drawstring for guaranteed fit. (The little strap on the back is to hold a blinkey light. Safety on the road is a must!)

Red Riding hood Bag

The cover of this bag (more accurately known as a sabertash) is made from an embroidery panel of my own design. The background that looks like wicker basket weave is actually made of teeny tiny cross-stitches! It took me days to design and weeks to complete, but the end result was 100% worth the work.
